FRANCO TOFFOLO (1934 - PRESENT)

Franco Toffolo was born in Murano.  His father was a glassblower and it wasn't long before Toffolo was following in his footsteps.  He worked for Venini from 1946 to 1950 and later set up the Venetian Glass Company 1960 - 1980 before going to work in Scotland,  Caithness Glass where he worked on special commissions for the Royal Family among many others until retiring.
